The objective of our Online A-Level Biology E-Learning Course to develop student's understanding of the contribution of science to the success of society. The student will acquire knowledge about different areas of biology and how science works. This course will prepare the student for advanced study.

During this course you will use a mixture of lessons, activities, core reading and assessments.
Assessment
The course contains a number of assignments which your tutor will mark and give the student valuable feedback on. These are called Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs).

AS Level

- Unit 2: BIOL2 The variety of living organisms- Examination paper: 1 hour 45 minutes- Available in June
- Unit 3: Practical Assessment: Investigative and Practical Skills in AS Biology- Available in June only
A2 Level
- Unit 4: BIOL4 Populations and environment- Examination paper: 1 hour 30 minutes- Available in June
- Unit 5: BIOL5 Control in cells and in organisms- Examination paper: 2 hour 15 minutes- Available in June only
- Unit 6: Practical Assessment: Investigative and Practical Skills in A2 Biology- Available in June only
AS + A2 = A level in Biology. Both AS and A2 level courses and examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A level.
