ASSESSMENT
You will be assessed through regular written assignments, which are submitted to and marked by your tutor. You do not need to appear for an external examination.  
 
The following assessments must be completed to gain the formal ICB qualifications: ·       
 
Level 2 Certificate: Three online tests ·        
Level 3 Certificate: Three online tests and a centre-based examination ·        
Level 4 Certificate - Online test and a centre-based examination  
The online tests can be taken from home or work, wherever you have access to a secure Internet connection, so an assessment is quick and easy. For the centre-based tests, we can assist you to find an approved ICB examination centre in your area.  
 
COURSE DURATION
You may start at any time and have 18 months to complete your studies. We estimate this course to take around 340 hours to complete. This is sufficient time and offers you flexibility to work at your own pace, without the pressure of deadlines.  
 
STUDY METHOD
The course is designed for study by online learning from home or work. Students will receive all course materials.   
 
COURSE OUTCOMES
With this course you have two options:  
1) The course can be undertaken for personal development without evaluation and we can provide you with a completion certificate.    
2) You can opt to take the examinations online from home.
On successful completion of the examinations, you will gain three bookkeeping qualifications:   ·        
the ICB Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping ·        
the ICB Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounts ·        
and the ICB Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Bookkeeping and Accounts.  
Passing these qualifications will enable you to gain Full membership status with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and use the letters MICB after your name, proving your qualifications to potential employers and clients.
